As a human being, there are multiple ways to grow: spiritually, physically, emotionally and so forth. However, none of those can happen without growing intellectually. There is a reason why Allah’s (swt) first ever command was and still is to READ. Of all the things the Almighty could have told the Prophet Muhammad (saw), He, in His ultimate wisdom, chose “READ”.To read makes us more aware, reduces ignorance, increases literacy rates and ultimately creates better societies. For me to #bewellread means to be well equipped; well equipped and prepared to face challenges. Those who read, intellectualize and reflect tend to be those who are calmer, wiser and more often, even more faithful.
