THE DEVIL IS A ZIONIST
Racism still exists. But nobody will openly declare they’re racists. Soon, the same will be true for Zionism. No one will openly associate with this disgraceful ideology.
God characterises three types of sinners: 1) The repentant sinner praying for forgiveness, 2) The unrepentant, believing they can conceal their evil, and 3) The evildoer who charges another for their iniquity. [4:110-112].
Type two is bad enough, but the third is truly odious.
Both types betray their souls. They concern themselves more with worldly eyes than the Ever-Watchful who sees and knows everything.
God warns us never to be duped by their wiles.
Public Relations for Israeli Zionism, including the global variety, uses types two and three for their propaganda machine. The Western corporate media is biased and receptive to Zionist trickery and sometimes even sets the Zionist agenda. They knowingly operate within the scope of both types to deceive and are perfidiously complicit in spreading disinformation and propaganda.
We must always resist evil. And if we can’t put it down, we must design a place from which we can.
Evil ties itself into knots. All we must do is repeatedly pick at it until it becomes undone.
To this end, God reminds us that empires come and go, so remain unceasing in your resistance and always maintain hope: ‘Many were the Ways of Life that have passed away before you: travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who rejected Truth. So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: For ye must gain mastery if ye are true in Faith. If a wound hath touched you, be sure a similar wound hath touched the others. Such days (of varying fortunes) We give to men and men by turns: that Allah may know those that believe, and that He may take to Himself from your ranks Martyr-witnesses (to Truth). And Allah loveth not those that do wrong.’ [3:137, 139 and 140].
For those who are tireless in the pursuit of justice, these verses are cause for rejoicing, and so too is the following stanza from the poem Memoriam, by Alfred Tennyson:
‘Our little systems have their day.
They have their day and cease to be:
They are but broken lights of Thee,
And Thou, O Lord! art more than they.’
EXPLOIT RAMADAN’S MOMENTUM
Ramadan improves even me, a devoted sinner.
Were you, as I was, tired and worn out from the inconsequential life?
Gratefully, Ramadan comes to sweep up the cobwebs and bind us, but this time, to the most consequential, the Infinite.
Those who have drunk deeply from Ramadan’s cup, those who have only sipped, and those in between must continue to build on whatever platform the month bequeathed them.
One of the best currencies for progress is momentum. Thus, it is expedient to incrementally build on the Golden Month using its momentum and lockdown inertia.
Now is the time to use Ramadan’s momentum. And exploit, exploit, exploit.
My best improvement was with food during this year’s fast.
I only have one intestine, but I ate like I had two, three or more, and realised I must seek penitence for overeating every other Ramadan. To say I overindulged 99.9% of the time every Ramadan wouldn’t be an exaggeration. The Prophet (s) cautioned, ‘A human being fills no worse vessel than his stomach’ [Sunan Ibn Majah 3349].
This year, thanks to an intention made in December 2024, I met Ramadan eating in the image of the Prophet (s). I now finish my meals with still an appetite, including new modifications built into my one-year eating plan.
My clean-eating lifestyle excludes crisps, fizzy drinks, chocolates, cakes, desserts, ice cream, sweets and processed food. I’ve reduced my sugar intake by 98% and bread intake by 80%. I’ve halved my portions and added greens, salads or fruit to every meal.
My new system delivers better health. I have a keener taste, higher energy, smoother skin, and have had substantial weight loss. Not once did I feel bloated during Ramadan. Performing Tarawih was more enjoyable, and I coped better with less sleep.
Waking from slumber is a minor resurrection. And like many others this Ramadan, I, too, was resurrected.
But my progress would be futile if I were to relapse back to the way things were.
To fiercely protect my momentum, I must heed the following warning: If you leave something for a day, it turns its back on you for a week. If you leave something for a week, it turns its back on you for a month. If you leave something for a month, it turns its back on you for a year.
The two crucial principles that helped shape my eating habits were 1) Sculpting my eating habits in the image of the Prophet (establishing my why?) and 2) Establishing the habit by scaling down and beginning small:
If you wish to continue shaping the post-Ramadan you, determine your why and use your momentum to establish your new identity, beginning with the super-easy things to do and maintain.
Author and Habits Master, James Clear, on success:
“Success is largely the failures you avoid.
Avoid the bad to protect the good.”
Until next week, InshaAllah
